I have learned a lot in this course of composition II, and enjoying learning how to further my writing skills. I know I have a long way to go to graduate, but I have a goal. At first I was unsure of coming back to school after so many years (25+), but I am glad that I did.
I am studying Human Services, and hope to be able to help those that are needy, and make a difference in this world.

New beginning

On the road again

On the road again

Wow, it's about time!!! I am finally going to be on the road again, after 3 years of "No" driving. Had to get rid of my truck back in '07, because of loosing my license for a stupid mistake, but after working hard, and saving, I finally bought another truck; used but drives good, so no more depending on my brothers to take me grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and to work because of rain. I now have my "independence" back and will never do another stupid thing again to loose that...

Bye for now, going to catch some sun, while we have it..

Wow, it's about time!!! I am finally going to be on the road again, after 3 years of "No" driving. Long week

Wow, I didn't think that I would ever got on here. It's been a long week at work, with the state being there all week, all the big wigs are just wigging out, because they do not want to get tagged. My thought on that is, that if you do your job the "right" way in the first place, than you should not have anything to worry about. Oh, ya I work in a nursing home, so they come and inspect to make sure the patient/residents are being taken care of properly, and getting proper meals, etc.I hope all was good in my department; but I that is my bosses job to make sure it is. I am sure we are fine, because I know what goes on in the kitchen, and I would feed the same food to my family, if I had to; as I do eat it myself.Well, now the stress from everyone else is over, maybe it will be more calm at work..
